The game has RPG elements, including 2 in-game currencies, 2 weapons, 4 skills, 18 upgradable technology and 12 types of enemies and some bosses. Your task is to defend the base, which is then divided into 2 tasks: kill the enemies, and, block enemies's projectiles using your character's shield.

During action, although you only have to move your turret vertically (no rotation, only shot straight horizontally), there is a lot of things you will have to take into consideration in order to survive the war, that includes: your shield's health, enemies's bullets, where to target your skills, weapon, enemies's type, enemies's behavior...written by Xac Uop

Different enemy type requires different strategy and priority: Jeeps are fast but are fragile and move in a straight line, only attack when they have reached your base, Hounds shoot dangerous bullets afar and move unpredictably in random direction, these should be taken out ASAP, Cerbers are heavily armored and can only be penetrated with X50 Cannon when first encountered, these need to be paralyzed with EMP when they have swarmed the screen...

Come at me bro.

2. Summary, basic informations, explainations.

The Defender:

Weapon:
  • Minigun: Upgrades include Fire Rate and Damage. Minigun is you primary weapon and main source of damage to your opponents, though it's called 'minigun', its role is huge. Minigun can takes out most enemies you'll encounter in game, mostly light and numerous enemies. Some enemies with thick armor can't be penetrated with minigun when you first met them but upgrading minigun damage further will make that possible.
  • X50 Cannon: Your secondary weapon. X50 Cannon deals massive damage and can penetrate through enemies if its power exceeds its target's durablity, but it take time to reload between shoots. This can be abused by changing back to minigun when your cannon is reloading.wr1tt3n |3y ><ac U0p
Ability:
  • Energy: Energy are necessary to use ability. Upgrade 'Restore Energy' will recover your energy over time during battle. Use your ability carefully to not run out of energy before the main dish is served.
  • ION strike: Your first ability. Deals damage to enemies in an area. Powerful at first but become expensive to upgrade and ineffective in later levels.
  • Force Field of the Base: Generate a force field around your base that renders your turret shield and your base invunerable for a short time. Save lifes in critical situations.
  • EMP strike : Deactives enemies in an area, paralyzes them for a considerable amount of time. Energy efficient, economical, this is the best ability. You can't beat later levels without this.
  • Nuke: Deals damage to all enemies in the screen. I don't recommend upgrading this skill because it costs too much energy and its effect isn't great.

Defend:
  • Base HP: Base has a HP, base consists of 4 buildings: a helicopter port, a house, 2 alluminum buildings. If those are hit, base HP decreases. If those aren't hit or are only hit a few times, sergant is happy to give you some golds and silvers to upgrade your things to further protect the base.
  • Turret Shield: has two attributes: shield size (HP) and regenerate time. Upgrading size will results in a more stable shield and can take more hit before it shrinked and disappear completely. Better regeneration will reduces time needed to restore the shield to its former glory.
Support:
  • Additional Machinegun Turret: add a decoration to your base. Seriously, dealing that silly amount of damage is like tickling them.
  • Add. Cannon Turret : Add. Cannon deals a huge amount of damage, almost as much as ur X50 cannon. It shoots automatically and reload on its own. After purchasing, the cannon will be placed behind you and fire its deathly bullet at enemies.
  • Mine Field: Create some mines initially as the battle starts. Give you some time before you have to use skill.

The Invader:

Enemies rush in from the right of the screen to attack your base. There are 12 types but it can be narrowed to these 3 main types: cannon fodder (light tank), raider (medium tank / MBT) and heavy tank. Enemies get higher HP, thicker armor on higher levels as they change color: Green, Blue, Violet, Orange, then White. I named them after the filename of their images and info in xml file I found in the app's package.

Cannon fodders: a bunch of weaklings harassing us.

  •  Jeep: Run in a straight line, they start attacking randomly after they stop at the base. They can be a nuisance in high number. You need to be able to one-shot each of them (kill a jeep with a minigun bullet) if you don't want to get in trouble.
  •  Crow: Also run in a straight line and a melee-fighter, but slower, tougher than Jeep.
  •       Hover Double (or Double Hover?): An imitation of flies. Shoot a bunch of weak bullets at you while moving on a defined path. Also recommended to be taken out in one shot.
  • Hover Triple: An upgraded version of Hover Double. Triple the annoyance. Its bullets are weak but it has the highest fire rate in game. Take it out as soon as possible.

Medium Tanks: Move fast, hit hard, don't let them get close.
  •  Hound: The first long-ranger you encountered. One of the dangerous enemies. They shoot and move at random direction afar. They hit hard and move fast at the cost of armor.
  •  Saigak: This vehcile can be categorized as a medium tank or a main battle tank. They are armored, they move fast, they are melee-fighter and worse yet, they appear in large number. Use minigun plus x50 to take them out. When first encountered, this unit is a big trouble and makes the levels it appears in quite hard to get the gold coin. It is advised to have a minigun powerful enough to destroy it in 3 bullets.
  •  Anti-gravity: An upgraded version of Saigak. Move a little slower, own thicker armor than their counterpart.

Heavy Tanks: They move slowly, their shoots are deadly. Deal with these by immobilizing them with EMP when their number get high and then use a combination of shoot-and-switch between X50 and minigun (need elaborate?) continously to get the highest amount of DPS.
  •  SMK: The first heavy tank that appeared in tutorial, its armor is 8 at that point. Use minigun to kill them on later levels since their armor isn't that thick.
  •  Tetsubo: When you encounter the blue Tetsubo, X50 is the best option. The green Tetsubo has 5 armor when blue Tetsubo has 60 armor, they really did invest a lot in upgrading armor for this one.
  •  Cerber: This unit is equipped with as-thick-as-a-Maus armor. Use HEAT... I mean, use X50.
  •  Arta: Although displayed as a favored target for X50 Cannon, it is actually not armored at all (arta green: armor 1, HP 300) so minigun can penetrate them good. Arta's rocket causes the highest amount of damage so destroy or immobilize it before it gets the chance to fire its rockets.
  •  Mammoth: The unit with highest HP in game (except boss).

3. Upgrading Order

Prioritize these upgrades:

Crucial Upgrade: Upgrade these first of all:

  • Minigun fire rate & damage: Recommend to upgrade until you are able to one-shot Jeeps and Hovers Double.
  • EMP Shockwave Duration.
  • EMP Shockwave AOE: Recommend level 2

Essential Upgrade: Upgrade these altogether after the crucials have been sastified:

  • Cannon damage. Invest your gold and silver pawn in this after you have secured your minigun to a certain level.
  • Turret Shield Size and Regeneration.
  • Force Field of the Base.
  • Base HP: This is necessary to get the gold easier, you can't block 100% bullets.
  • Addition Cannon Turret.
  • Restore Energy.written by Xac Uop

Neccessary Upgrade: Upgrade these last.

  • Max. Energy.
  • Mine Field. Recommend level 1. Don't upgrade it any further.
  • Cannon Fire Rate: Recommend level 3.
Optional:
Nuke.
ION damage and AOE.
